Matt Fields is originally from Pinehurst, North Carolina and has over two decades of elite coaching experience and a deep passion for player development. Matt is a former collegiate player at the University of North Carolina Greensboro, and went on to compete professionally before transitioning into coaching as a Head Golf Professional, including working at several of Pinehurst’s most respected clubs such as Talamore Golf Club, Pinehurst Plantation, and The Mid South Club. Matt’s dedication to helping players grow, both on and off the course, has played a pivotal role in developing many top-ranked juniors. Matt leads IJGA's coaching program with a wealth of knowledge and experience, having taught over 50,000 lessons across the U.S. and internationally. He holds multiple coaching certifications, including PGA Certified Professional, Hank Haney Certified Coach, Gary Gilchrist Certified Coach, Putting Zone Certified Coach, and Mach 3 Speed Training Certification. With international coaching experience in more than 10 countries, Matt has also trained fellow coaches and built elite junior golf programs worldwide.

Sebastian Brown attended Landar University as a member of the Men’s Golf Team and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science. Sebastian became a Certified Golf Fitness Instructor (TPI – Level 3) in and has Certified Functional Strength Coach (MBSC) and Fitness Specialist (EXOS). After graduating from Landar University Sebastian held various positions in Performance Training at Whatmore Performance Training (Bradenton, FL), Avila Golf & Country Club (Tampa, FL), and then at TPC Sawgrass PGA Tour HQ (Ponte Vedra Beach, FL) from 2016 – 2020. In 2020 Sebasitian was recruited to join IJGA as the Director of Strength and Conditioning. Sebastian in his professional positions has been able to use his knowledge and expertise to guide the careers of hundreds of Juniors, Amateur and College players along with players on the PGA Tour, LPGA Tour and Major Champions.

Gary has been a fully certified member of the Professional Golf Association of Australia since 1987, currently holding an Advanced Certification in Coaching. During his 30+ years coaching in many parts of the world, he has helped prepare players at every level of golf, from beginners to PGA Tour Major Champions. Today, Gary’s goal is to share his experience, knowledge, and passion learned over the years with students and athletes who wish to learn, understand, and improve their performance factors. Gary embraces the following performance philosophy: The Concept of Adaptive Performance State (APS)©. The guiding principles outlined in the Adaptive Performance State (APS) concept can serve as a platform for the athlete to achieve this process and the ultimate goal of skill mastery.
